Christmas Appeal 2025 – Help Us Spread Joy This Festive Season!

20th November 2025

As we approach the holiday season, we are reminded of the importance of community and the spirit of giving. This Christmas, we are reaching out to our wonderful community to help us support those in need.

The Christmas period can be especially challenging for those on a low income, as additional costs like heating and fuel stretch already tight budgets. Behind closed doors, many families and individuals struggle to make ends meet and cover these essential expenses.

Ways You Can Help:

Donate Non-Perishable Food and Non-Food Items

We need things like canned goods, pasta, rice, and long-life milk. Extra items such as Toiletries, baby products, household cleaning products and pet food, for four-legged friends, are also really helpful and greatly appreciated.

Since it’s the festive season, we welcome donations of Christmas goodies. We put together special Christmas parcels with items like selection boxes and hot chocolate, alongside alcohol-free mince pies, and Christmas puddings. With these goodies, we aim to to make the season a little brighter for those in need.

We have created a Christmas shopping list to help guide your donations while you’re are out shopping.

Reverse Advent Calendar

Build a parcel of kindness, one day at a time. Each tin, packet, or jar you add becomes part of a lifeline for a family in need. That’s the magic of a Reverse Advent Calendar: small daily acts that add up to hope and dignity when it matters most. You can download a PDF here.

Drop off your completed Reverse Advent Calendar Collection at our warehouse:

Unit 3, Edwards Enterprise Park, Rhosddu Industrial Estate, Wrexham, LL11 4ZA, before the 19th December.

Financial Donations

Financial support helps us buy food and other essentials. Visit our Donate Money page to see how you can make a donation and help us continue our vital work.

The Gift of Giving

Spread the joy of giving by asking friends and family to donate food to our food bank instead of giving gifts. We’ve made it easy with our donation slips, which you can send to your loved ones.

Upcoming collections:

Tesco Winter Collection

📆27th – 29th November

📍 Tesco Stores:

  • Cern Mawr, LL14 3BF
  • Central Wrexham LL13 8HF

During our last collection, together we gathered 1,121kg of food — enough to provide around 2,670 meals for people struggling to afford food. 💛

As the cold months set in, we’re asking if we can go even further to help those facing hardship. Christmas is a time of kindness and generosity, yet it’s also when demand for our food bank rises most.
Add a little kindness to your trolley. Every donation — big or small, tin or pounds — makes a real difference in our fight against hunger.

We have donation points in Asda,Tesco and Sainsbury’s

You can also donate food in the collection bins in these stores which are usually located just beyond the tills as you finish your shop. If you’re not sure where, just ask a member of staff.

Heading to the Wrexham game on 13th December?

Join us for a special food collection at the Wrexham vs Watford match! You can find us on Dragon’s Square, Mold Road Stand.

If everyone brings a tin or an item from our essentials list, imagine the impact a stadium full of people can make!

Every donation, no matter how big or small, makes a significant difference in the lives of those struggling to make ends meet. Your generosity can bring nourishment, comfort, and hope to families in our community this Christmas.
