Overview

The Trustees of the Foodbank are seeking to recruit a part time Warehouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day activities of the Foodbank warehouse in Wrexham. The Warehouse Manager will lead a team of volunteers to provide effective stock control of food donations into and out of the Foodbank warehouse.

 

Applicants should demonstrate warehouse or similar manual handling experience however training will be offered if required. In addition, applicants must have a full UK driving license and ideally access to a car (mileage rates will be paid in accordance with HMRC AMAP rates).

Salary: £9.90 per hour plus pension contributions

Hours: 18 hours per week to include Tuesdays and Fridays 9am-3pm with the remaining 6 hours to be worked flexibly as necessary to ensure warehouse functionality between Monday to Friday.

Contract period: The post will be a twenty four month fixed term contract with the possibility of extension.

Probationary period: Confirmation of employment will be subject to the satisfactory completion of a three-month probationary period.

Working location: The Foodbank warehouse is based at Unit 1A Felin Puleston Industrial Estate, Ruabon Road, Wrexham LL13 7RF.

 

Annual Leave: 28 days annual leave per year (which includes public holidays).
