The Trussell Trust runs the largest network of food banks in the UK, giving emergency food and support to people in crisis. Fourteen million people live below the poverty line and in the last year 1,9 million three-day emergency food supplies were distributed to people in crisis.
As a consequence of the ongoing impact of the restrictions around coronavirus we are unable to continue our distribution of food parcels from Hightown Community Resource Centre starting from this Friday March 27th 2020. Our distribution at Capel Y Groes Church will continue on Friday between 11 am and 12.30 pm.
