- WAREHOUSE WILL BE OPEN THIS FRIDAY DECEMBER 20TH BETWEEN 10am and 3pm TO RECEIVE DONATIONS. IT WILL THEN BE CLOSED UNTIL FIRDAY JANUARY 3RD . IT IS NOT OPEN ON EITHER CHRISTMAS EVE or NEW YEARS EVE
- AFTER THIS FRIDAY ALL OUR DISTRIBUTION SITES WILL ALSO BE CLOSED UNTIL FRIDAY JANUARY 3RD.
These closures reflect a number of factors. Firstly the majority of agencies who refer clients normally for food parcels are closed for prolonged periods over the next 2 weeks’; secondly we will have distributed nearly 600 Christmas Food boxes to local folk by December 20th and thirdly we have a very dedicated band of volunteers who have worked extremely hard over the past few weeks and are due a rest and time with their families over the holiday period. Our part time employees have also worked tirelessly (racking up many hours overtime since the beginning of December) and are in need of a break.
